Cass County Sheriff Richard J Behnke reports that on 7/3/2024 at 12:42 P.m. his deputies responded to a Single-vehicle injury crash on M-40 South of Bald Hill St. in Newberg Township.  The investigation shows that Adrian Black, 31-years-old of Three Rivers, and Tara Litteral were driving northbound on M-40 when Black lost control of his truck and trailer.  Black struck the guardrail, and went down the hill causing the truck to roll end over end.
Newberg transported Adrian Black via Aircare to Bronson Kalamazoo, and Tara Litteral, to Three Rivers ER. 
All parties were wearing their seat belts and alcohol/drugs were not a factor in the crash.  This incident remains under investigation
