The National Weather Service has issued a Flood Warning until 9:30 a.m. today, 7/4/2024, as flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected throughout the St. Louis metro area.

Impacts include flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. It will take several hours for all the water from these storms to work through local drainage systems in urban areas.

Remember, turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
