Traffic Advisory: 4th of July Parade Street Closures
The Town of Danville and the Kiwanis Club of San Ramon Valley are hosting the Kiwanis 4th of July Parade in Downtown Danville. The parade starts at 9 a.m. on July 4, at the north end of Hartz Avenue near San Ramon Valley High School and ends at Town and Country Drive, passing through Hartz Avenue/San Ramon Valley Boulevard.
Street closures from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. on July 4 include:
- Danville Boulevard (El Cerro Blvd to Railroad Ave)
- Railroad Avenue (Hartz Ave to Love Lane)
- La Gonda Way (El Cerro Blvd to Danville Blvd)
- Prospect Avenue (Hartz Ave to Front Street)
- East Linda Mesa Avenue (Hartz Ave to Rose Street Parking Lot)
- Hartz Avenue (Railroad Ave to Hartz Way)
- San Ramon Valley Boulevard (Hartz Way to Town and Country Drive)
- Town and Country Drive (San Ramon Valley Blvd to Town and Country Parking Lot entrance)
Alternative routes: Danville Boulevard north of El Cerro Boulevard and San Ramon Valley Boulevard south of Sycamore Valley Road West. Parking lots at Danville Town and Country, Danville Livery, and Sycamore Square will remain open. More information is available at srvkiwanis.org/parade.
Due to noise, crowds, heat, and nature of the event, it is not recommended to bring non-service animals to the parade.
