July 3, 2024:
- Officer Debczak investigated a missing person situation which was reported by the subject’s roommate. The subject was located in Wisconsin.
- Sergeant Stanton and Officer Elston assisted City Inspection.
- Officer Frazier arrested a 44-year-old male on an outstanding parole warrant.
- Officer Brooker was dispatched to the 500 block of Orange Street for a Home Invasion. A 34-year-old male suspect was identified but not located.
- Officers Justice, Mills, and Tenney conducted foot patrol downtown.
- Officers and Reserve Officers were at the fireworks at Cascades Parks with no major issues reported.
July 4, 2024:
- Officer Albrecht investigated the theft of a vehicle from the 300 block of Moorman Drive.
- Officer Brooker contacted a subject in the 1500 block of West Avenue and arrested a 42-year-old male on an outstanding warrant.
- Officer Reasoner took the report of a 16-year-old runaway.
- Sergeant Burkart contacted a 26-year-old male subject in Loomis Park carrying a firearm. Charges will be sought for Brandishing, and Concealed Pistol License violation.
- Officer Farnsworth was sent to the 300 block of VanBuren Street for shots fired.
- Officers Justice and Schram were sent to the 200 block of Prospect Street for several disorderly juveniles. Ultimately, a 14-year-old male and two 14-year-old females were turned over to their parents. Charges for curfew violation and Resisting & Obstructing will be sought.
