Proposed Development of Ice House Park Public Comment Period
The Town of Perryville seeks to convert a currently unusable and inaccessible riverfront shoreline on Town land, Ice House Park, and develop this area into park by implementing a nature-based shoreline restoration and stormwater management project. The project will increase access to the water for active and passive recreation opportunities which could include fishing area, kayak access, walking trails, connection to the Lower Susquehanna Heritage Greenway water trail system, and additional greenspace opportunities.
Public Comment on the proposed development or desired amenities for Ice House Park will take place on Tuesday, July 16, 2024, at 6:30pm at the Town Hall Meeting Room. Public comment may also be provided in writing from June 18th-July 16, 2024.
