Saluting Our Fallen Heroes - Fire Captain Augusto Acabou and Fire Captain Wayne Brooks, Jr. 
Today, Friday, July 5, 2024, we remember our fallen heroes, Newark Fire Captains Augusto “Augie” Acabou and Wayne “The Bear” Brooks, Jr. Both men bravely gave their lives on this date in 2023 while fighting a fire at Port Newark.
