Situational Overview from NWS
Recent satellite imagery shows some sign of increasing convection in Beryl after its emergence into the SW Gulf. With the storm now back over open water, its inner core will continue to recover and allow for gradual strengthening as the storm approaches the Texas Coast. Beryl will spend much of the weekend traveling generally to the northwest, turning slightly more northward tomorrow into Monday morning. The forecast continues to bring the storm to the Texas Gulf Coast a little below Matagorda Bay as a hurricane around mid-day Monday.

Please take all necessary precautions and stay safe during this time.
