OWI 8th Arrest

On 7/7/24 at approximately 7:50PM, Janesville Police Department Officers were flagged down in the 300 Block of S. Main St. for a disturbance.  A citizen had observed a male and female physically fighting in a vehicle.  The citizen intervened and assisted the female out of the vehicle.  The male driver fled the scene and struck the citizen.  Officers located the suspect vehicle in the 100 Block of S. Main St.  The driver, Timothy Graesslin, showed signs of impairment, refused field sobriety testing, and was arrested. 
 
A Department of Transportation Driver’s License check showed Graesslin had 7 prior OWI convictions.  A warrant was served for a chemical test of his blood and the results are pending.
 
Graesslin was held at the Rock County Jail.
