At 440 AM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 15 miles south of Montoya to 6 miles north of Fort Sumner. Movement was southeast at 20 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Fort Sumner, House, and Taiban. This includes Highway 60 between Mile Markers 331 and 345.
