McDowell County, NC - July 8, 2024 - Emergency personnel are actively working in the Brackett Town Road area off Vein Mountain Road. after a small plane was reported missing. Emergency crews have located a downed aircraft near the McDowell/Rutherford County line. Search and rescue efforts are ongoing, and all available resources are being utilized to ensure a thorough and swift response.
