Full Notification

On July 6, 2024, at approximately 1240 hours, the Middle Township Police Department was dispatched to Route 9 North in the Swainton section of Middle Township for a report of a Motor Vehicle Crash involving two (2) vehicles, one being an Inspira ambulance.  Investigation revealed the Inspira ambulance was traveling north on Route 9 with lights and sirens activated while enroute to a medical emergency when a vehicle pulled out in front of them. EMT personnel were uninjured however the other driver, 78 years old from Lansdowne, Pa. was flown to Jefferson Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.  Route 9 North was closed for approximately two (2) hours.  Traffic summons pending further investigation of the Motor Vehicle Crash.
