INDIANAPOLIS – Today, July 9, 2024, the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD), Chief Chris Bailey, Mayor Joe Hogsett, and the IMPD Civilian Merit Board are pleased to announce the merit promotions of eight supervisors. This is a momentous occasion that underscores the dedication and commitment of these supervisors to their roles and the community.

· Tabatha McLemore
Captain Ferrell and Captain McLemore currently serve in appointed ranks as Major of Criminal Investigations and Major of the Operations Support Bureau, respectively, and they will remain in these roles.
Upon their promotion, these new supervisors will serve in various roles throughout the department. A promotion ceremony will be held at a later date.
