Beryl Update - 7/9 - 2:00pm
As we continue to clean up and assess damage from Hurricane Beryl, we would like to share a few reminders with our citizens:
- Household trash pickup has resumed, please put household trash out on your scheduled day.
- Heavy trash (not tree debris) is being picked up, but please limit what you are putting out for now if you can.
- Debris (limbs, branches, leaves, etc.) can be placed at the curb separate from household and other heavy trash.
- Take your time with debris cleanup, there is no rush to get it out as pick up will be a long process.
- Generators need to be placed outside away from windows. DO NOT operate generators inside your home.
- Cooling Centers are open at Richwood City Hall-1800 N. Hwy 288B, Angleton Rec Center-1601 N. Valderas, First Baptist Church of Brazoria-101 E. San Bernard
- O2 Concentrator charging stations are open from 9am-8pm at the Angleton Rec Center, 1601 N. Valderas and at the Pearland Rec Center, 4141 Bailey Rd
- Crisis Cleanup is offering assistance with home cleanup, call 979-217-3791 or go to crisiscleanup.org to get registered.
- Centerpoint Energy is in our area and will be working to restore power as quickly a possible. Please be patient as there are still 1.7 million people across the state without power at this time.
