Borough welcomes Mike Montrey Band
for first Parkstock 2024 concert,
Thursday July 18th, 6-8 pm, Donaldson Park
On Thursday July 18th the Borough of Highland Park will be pleased to welcome the Mike Montrey Band to open our Parkstock 2024 summer concert series.
Americana Highways described the Mike Montrey Band: "Mike has a vocal tone that’s frail with vulnerability, and as he sings over low fiddle and a mid-tempo Americana beat with pedal steel and lovely harmonies, you’ll feel moved to a tear or two before even listening to the lyrical message. But then the lyrics come in and he’s confronting mortality, and the waterworks begin in earnest ... Profound and poignant." NJ Stage named the Mike Montrey Band as artist of the year and wrote: "Soulful, pretty, bittersweet harmonies. Heartwarming, spine-rattling, bone-chilling duets.”
This concert will be held on Thursday July 18th from 6:00 – 8:00 pm, in the gazebo in Grove 1 in Donaldson Park, with ample parking available nearby. Food vendors will be available on site for purchase.
The rain date for this show is Thursday August 8th.
