Special Weather Statement until 06:45PM

At 607 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 11 miles southwest of Trujillo to 6 miles east of Amistad. Movement was south at 35 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Mosquero, Amistad, Nara Visa, Logan, Colonias, Conchas Lake State Park, Conchas Dam, Trujillo, Conchas, and Ute Lake State Park. This includes State Road 104 between Mile Markers 20 and 95.
