At 714 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 9 miles south of Nara Visa to 10 miles northeast of Dilia. Movement was south at 35 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and nickel size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Tucumcari, Santa Rosa, Quay, Logan, San Jon, Ragland, Montoya, Colonias, Glenrio, and Conchas Lake State Park. This includes the following highways... Interstate 40 between Mile Markers 255 and 373. State Road 104 between Mile Markers 48 and 105.
