Flood Advisory until 10:00AM Wednesday

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...Portions of south central and southwest Michigan, including the following counties, Calhoun, Eaton, Ingham, Jackson, Kalamazoo, and Van Buren.

* WHEN...Until 1000 AM EDT Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways. Some low-water crossings may become impassable.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 930 PM EDT, Radar and automated rain gauges indicated several locations within the advisory area received 2 to 4 inches of rain Tuesday afternoon. Minor flooding is occurring in a few locations in the advisory area, and flooding in additional locations is likely to develop Wednesday morning. - Some locations that have already flooded due to Tuesday's rain include Lansing, East Lansing, Schoolcraft, and Vicksburg. These locations will be especially vulnerable to additional rain early Wednesday. More locations in the advisory area have also received some rain on Tuesday and are expected to begin flooding as heavier rain resumes early Wednesday morning. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
