At 833 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 8 miles southwest of Yeso to 8 miles west of Bovina. Movement was south at 105 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Clovis, Portales, Fort Sumner, Texico, Melrose, Elida, Dora, Causey, House, and Ranchvale. This includes the following highways... Highway 285 between Mile Markers 126 and 163. Highway 60 between Mile Markers 293 and 397.
