INCIDENT: H&S 11370.1(a) - Possession of a controlled substance while armed, H&S 11378 - Possession of a controlled substance for sale, PC 29800(a)(1) - Felon in possession of a firearm
LOCATION: 600 block of Baldwin Rd, Redlands CA
SUSPECT(S): Michael Tejada, 46-year-old Resident of Redlands
VICTIM(S): State of California
SUMMARY: Over the past several weeks, deputies from the Yucaipa Sheriff's Station and the Gang Enforcement Detail conducted a narcotics investigation involving suspect, Michael Tejada. Tejada was found to be on federal parole and had an active no-bail warrant for his arrest. During the investigation, Tejada was identified as a subject selling narcotics in the cities of Yucaipa, San Bernardino, Redlands, and unicorporated areas of San Bernardino County.
On July 9, 2024, deputies served a search warrant at Tejada's residence. During the service of the search warrant, deputies located approximately two pounds of suspected methamphetamine, seven grams of heroin, and a loaded .45 caliber handgun in Tejada's possession. Tejada was arrested for the felony charges along with his no-bail federal warrant
