BERYL UPDATE - 7/10 - 6:00PM
It is great to see the residents of Clute come together to help their neighbors in this difficult situation and we ask for your continued patience and kindness in the coming days. As we continue to clean up from Hurricane Beryl, we would like to share a few reminders with our citizens:
- Water Bills - no late fees or cut-offs until further notice, please pay your bills online if you are able to.
- City Hall - will be open regular hours beginning Thursday, July 11.
- Report Damage - please report hurricane damage here iSTAT Damage Surveys (texas.gov) , input is crucial to help our community receive assistance and resources
- Ice POD - we are still waiting for resources from the state, we will stand the POD up as soon as we can.
- Household trash - running on regular schedule
- Heavy trash (not tree debris) - is being picked up, please limit what you are putting out if you can.
- Debris (limbs, branches, leaves, etc.) - can be placed at the curb separate from household and other heavy trash. Debris MUST not be mixed with any other type of trash.
- Fencing/Construction Material/etc. - must be separated from debris, normal heavy trash and household trash.
- Generators - need to be placed outside away from windows. DO NOT operate generators inside your home.
- Cooling Centers - open at the Clute Library from 10am-6pm, Angleton Rec Center-1601 N. Valderas and First Baptist Church of Brazoria-101 E. San Bernard
- O2 Concentrator Charging - stations are open from 9am-8pm at the Angleton Rec Center, 1601 N. Valderas and at the Pearland Rec Center, 4141 Bailey Rd
- Crisis Cleanup - offering assistance with home cleanup, call 979-217-3791 or go to crisiscleanup.org to get registered.
- Centerpoint Energy - in our area and working to restore power as quickly a possible.
