Flood Advisory until 10:30PM Wednesday

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Portions of central, north central, and northeast Illinois, including the following counties, in central Illinois, Livingston. In north central Illinois, La Salle. In northeast Illinois, Grundy.

* WHEN...Until 1030 PM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Roads and streets may be flooded.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 726 PM CDT, Broadcast media reported flooding in Streator due to heavy rain in the advisory area due to thunderstorms. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Streator, Pontiac, Flanagan, Odell, South Streator, Tonica, Grand Ridge, Cornell, Lostant, Ransom, Rutland, Kangley, Long Point, Verona, Dana, Leonore and Kinsman. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
