Yellow River at Plymouth affecting St. Joseph, Marshall and
Starke Counties.
For the Yellow River...including Plymouth...Minor flooding is
forecast.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

* WHERE...Yellow River at Plymouth.
* WHEN...From this afternoon to Saturday morning.
* IMPACTS...At 13.5 feet, Some residential and commercial properties
near the Jefferson Street Bridge begin to flood.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 8:45 AM EDT Thursday /7:45 AM CDT Thursday/ the stage was
10.7 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
late this afternoon to a crest of 13.5 feet just after
midnight tonight. It will then fall below flood stage early
tomorrow afternoon.
- Flood stage is 13.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
13.5 feet on 02/04/1968.
