ROAD CLOSURE- Galena Blvd between Barnes Rd and Hankes Rd. starting July 12 for IDOT bridge repair work to the Blackberry Creek Bridge . 
IDOT has a planned Galena Blvd. (in Aurora) road closure for bridge repair work to the Blackberry Creek Bridge starting July 12 and expecting to conclude around August 31, 2024. Galena Blvd will be closed to all traffic starting on July 12 from Barnes Rd. to Hankes RD. IDOT has the area posted with detour signage for alternate routes around the area. Expect Delays and plan additional time when traveling in the area due to the closure.
