BERYL UPDATE - 7/11 - 6PM
We are continuing to see the goodness in our community, thank you! As we continue to clean up from Hurricane Beryl, we would like to share a few reminders with our citizens:
- Debris (limbs, branches, leaves, etc.) - can be placed at the curb separated from all other trash.
- Drainage - DO NOT PLACE DEBRIS NEAR CULVERTS OR IN DITCHES! If you notice blocked culverts or ditches, please call 979-265-2541 to report it.
- Ice POD - OPEN at Brazosport College, open until 8pm today, will reopen at 9am on Friday.
- Sewer - the system is fragile due to power outage, please limit wastewater (flushing, laundry, bath/shower, etc) as much as possible.
- Water Bills - no late fees or cut-offs until further notice, please pay your bills online if you are able to.
- City Hall - open regular hours
- Report Damage - please report hurricane damage here iSTAT Damage Surveys (texas.gov) , input is crucial to help our community receive assistance and resources
- Household trash - running on regular schedule
- Heavy trash (not tree debris) - is being picked up, please limit what you are putting out if you can.
- Fencing/Construction Material/etc. - must be separated from debris, normal heavy trash and household trash.
- Generators - need to be placed outside away from windows. DO NOT operate generators inside your home.
- Cooling Centers - Clute Library is up and running again and will be open 10am-6pm on Friday.
- O2 Concentrator Charging - stations are open from 9am-8pm at the Angleton Rec Center, 1601 N. Valderas and at the Pearland Rec Center, 4141 Bailey Rd
- Centerpoint Energy - in our area and working to restore power as quickly a possible.
