The City of San Gabriel will activate its cooling center at the Community Recreation Center at 250 South Mission Drive on Sunday, July 14, and Monday, July 15, from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. for anyone seeking relief from the heat.
Please note: The San Gabriel Library, located at 500 South Del Mar Ave will be closed on these days. However, the library will serve as a cooling center during its regular business hours:
- Tuesday:12:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
- Wednesday:12:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
- Thursday: 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
- Friday: 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
- Saturday: 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
