On Saturday, July 13^th the Tri-Harder Kids Triathlon will take place at 8:30 am.  The triathlon begins at Lake Lackawanna Beach and the biking and running portion will run from the beach along Lake Drive and Richmond Road out and around the golf course.
 
For the period of 8:30 am – 10:30 am there will be bicyclists and runners between the ages of 4 and 14 traversing the local streets in the Lake Lackawanna community.  There will be volunteer road marshals to assist.  There will be single lane traffic traveling along these roads for periods of time during the race.  Emergency access for police, fire and ambulance will not be affected. Roadways will be open, and we wish to advise you of the extra pedestrian and bicycle traffic that will be in the neighborhood.  For safety reasons, please use extreme caution when driving in this area and alert to children and volunteers that will be actively sharing the roadway. 
 
This race has been approved by the Byram Township governing body and is being coordinated by the Lake Lackawanna IC and Byram Parks and Recreation.   Parking for participants and families is available on the corner of Richmond and Heminover.  Walk across the dam to the beach area.
