7-12-24 Wanted Big Island Individuals Arrested During Warrant Sweep

During this past week, the Hawai’i Police Department’s Area I Crime Reduction Unit and officers from the South Hilo and Puna patrol divisions, in conjunction with the United States Marshals Service Hawai’i Task Force, the Division of Conservation and Resources Enforcement (DOCARE), held a joint operation primarily in East Hawai’i, that led to the arrest of numerous wanted individuals.

The following individuals have been arrested and charged for various offenses:

42-year-old Chanel Pikakeohanani Mariani, of Mountain View, was charged with:

  • Violations of Conditions of Release on Bail, Recognizance, or Supervised Release

Her bail was set at $2,000.

32-year-old Christopher Kenneth Kealoha Mattos, of Mountain View, was charged with:

  • Summons or Arrest of Defendant on Probation; Commitment without Bail (two counts)
  • Warrant of Arrest Information Charging, for the following offenses:
    • Place to Keep: Ammunition
    • Third Degree Promotion of a Dangerous Drug
    • Prohibited Acts Related to Drug Paraphernalia 

His bail was set at $7,000.

40-year-old Jarrett Kupiilani McAtee Jr., of Pahoa, was charged with:

  • Summons or Arrest of Defendant on Probation; Commitment without Bail

His bail was set at $5,000.

41-year-old Jason Masami White, of Keaau, was charged with:

  • Summons or Arrest of Defendant on Probation; Commitment without Bail

His bail was set at $4,000.

39-year-old Jeffrey Robert K. Pea, of Hilo, was charged with:

  • Arrest Without a Warrant – pending extradition to Colorado for the following offenses:
    • Sexual Assault – No Consent/Victim Helpless
    • Sexual Assault – Victim Incapable of Appraising Nature of Conduct
    • First-degree Burglary

Held without bail pending extradition.

47-year-old Paul Anthony Petrill, of Ocean View, was charged with:

  • Criminal Contempt of Court (4 counts)

His bail was set at $8,000.

45-year-old Sham Starbuck M. Freitas, ofNaalehu, was charged with:

  • Failure to Appear

His bail was set at $300.

43-year-old Starlette Venus Freitas, of Ocean View, was charged with:

  • Criminal Contempt of Court

Her bail was set at $5,000.

31-year-old Kolby Kaleolani Kekeni Rosario of Pahala, was charged with:

  • Violations of Conditions of Release on Bail, Recognizance, or Supervised Release
  • Warrant of Arrest Information Charging, for the offenses of:
    • Third Degree Promotion of a Dangerous Drug
    • Prohibited Acts Related to Drug Paraphernalia 

His bail was set at $7,000.

54-year-old Rudolph Wayne Borreta, of Pahoa, was charged with:

  • Violations of Conditions of Release on Bail, Recognizance, or Supervised Release

His bail was set at $5,000.

35-year-old Giles Anakone Mainaaupo, of Kurtistown, was charged with:

  • Summons or Arrest of Defendant on Probation; Commitment without Bail

His bail was set at 25,000.

21-year-old Nathanuel Angel Chow-Guzman, of Keaau, was charged with:

  • Warrant of Arrest, for the following offenses:
    • Third-degree Promotion of a Dangerous Drug
    • Driving Without a Valid Driver’s License (DWOL)

His bail was set at $3,000.
