Watch Commander's Night Report - July 12, 2024



CAD CALLS: 1104

1. Armed Robbery (1825) 2800 Block of Playa Del Sol Avenue, Park District

The male victim, 43, and female victim, 19, were near the listed area to purchase a vehicle they saw advertised online when one of the suspects brandished a handgun and demanded money. One of the victims ran for help, and the suspects fled the area. SUSPECTS: Hispanic male, 21, and Black male adult, 23-27.

2. Resisting Arrest (1937) 2700 Block Country Club Boulevard, Civic Center District

Officers responded to the listed area on a report of a disturbance when the suspect attempted to interfere with an investigation by trying to push past officers. The suspect refused commands to stay back, and force was required to take the suspect into custody. ARRESTED: Shaquoia Carlos, 39, for resisting arrest.

3. Weapon Arrest (2004) 400 Block of East Bianchi Road, Valley Oak District

Officers conducted an enforcement stop in the listed area. A subsequent search of the vehicle revealed a loaded firearm. ARRESTED: Xavier Zapata, 29; Donald Blanton, 20; Joseph Gamboa-Estrada, 19; and Damien Edwards, 20 for multiple weapons violations.

4. Robbery (2350) 100 Block of West Fremont Street, Civic Center District

The male victim, 45, was working in an area business when he asked the suspect to leave the premises. The suspect struck him in the head several times and stole his property. The victim was treated at an area hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. SUSPECT: Black male, 20-30.

5. Carjacking (0420) 700 Block of East Hazelton Avenue, Seaport District

The male victim, 27, was sitting in his vehicle in the listed area when he was approached by two suspects. One of the suspects put a sharp object to his back and demanded his property. The victim complied and the suspects fled in his vehicle. SUSPECTS: Two Hispanic male adults

6. Person Shot (0536) Downtown Stockton, Civic Center District

The male victim, 27, was walking in the area when he heard several gunshots and realized he was shot in the ankle. He transported himself to an area hospital where he was treated for non-life-threatening injuries. There is no suspect information.
