We appreciate the generosity and continuous backing from our community. Thank you! As we progress with our recovery efforts, here are a few important reminders for our citizens:
- Report Damage - please report hurricane damage here iSTAT Damage Surveys (texas.gov) , input is crucial to help our community and its residents receive assistance and resources
- Disaster Assistance - residents of Brazoria County can apply for FEMA Disaster Assistance online at Home | disasterassistance.gov or by calling 1-800-621-3362
- Centerpoint Energy - roughly 70% of our city has power restored, crews are still working to get us to 100%
- Debris Pickup - will begin next week, please be patient as they make their way through the city
- Debris (limbs, branches, leaves, etc.) - keep separated from all other trash
- Drainage - DO NOT PLACE DEBRIS NEAR CULVERTS OR IN DITCHES! If you notice blocked culverts or ditches, please report to 979-265-2541
- Sewer - the system had power restored and is fully functioning
- Water Bills - no late fees or cut-offs until further notice, please pay your bills online if you are able to
- City Hall - open regular hours
- The Fitness Center - will remain CLOSED through Monday 7/15
- Household trash - running on regular schedule
- Heavy trash (not tree debris) - is being picked up, please limit what you are putting out if you can
- Fencing/Construction Material/etc. - must be separated from debris, normal heavy trash and household trash
- Generators - need to be placed outside away from windows. DO NOT operate generators inside your home
