Miles City Residents are advised to STAY INSIDE THEIR RESIDENCE due to multiple power lines down.  This is for your safety.

Do not dial 911 or regular dispatch lines to report trees down blocking roads or intersections. City crews are out attempting to clear main roadways.  Do not call dispatch to report a power outage in your area. MDU emergency lines are flooded with multiple calls.  No estimated time of when the power will be coming back on. There are multiple power poles broken and lines down throughout Miles City.  Keep your windows open throughout the night because tomorrow will be another day of temperatures into the hundreds.  

Call  911 for immediate threat to life or property.  Once again you are requested to STAY INSIDE your residence for your safety until further notice.
