Please be aware that the City has a construction contract with FS Contractors, Inc. for the completion of the above-mentioned project. The final phase of this project is scheduled to begin July 15, 2024.

This portion of the work will focus on the sidewalk widening along the west side of Highland Ave. at the 210-freeway underpass between Central Ave. and Evergreen St. Work will also include pavement restoration and pavement markings on the western half of the street.

Construction is set to begin on Monday, July 15, 2024, and is expected to be completed by mid-August 2024. Work hours will typically take place from 7 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday.

While every effort will be made to minimize disruptions, residents and motorists are advised of the following potential impacts:

• Traffic control signage and delineation will be in place 24 hours a day from July 15 to July 29.
• Lane closures within the work area may cause traffic delays.
• The use of alternate routes is recommended when possible.

The City and contractor will work together to ensure that the construction process is as smooth as possible.
