The Village of New Lenox advises that Veterans Parkway will be closed to thru traffic today, July 20, due to an event in the Village Commons. Food Fight: Taco Fest will be taking place today from 11am to 9pm, and details can be found at newlenox.net/events. Old Plank Trail Community Bank and the New Lenox Public Library will be accessible via Independence Blvd. The suggested alternate route is Route 30 to Nelson to Haven.
