DUI Driver Arrested:

On Sunday, July 14th 2024 at 4:37pm, community members called to report a vehicle collision in the 2100 block of Falcon Ridge Dr. A driver collided into a parked vehicle and drove away from the scene. Officers arrived on scene within minutes and found the suspect vehicle that had left the scene, parked at a nearby residence. The officers located the driver involved in the collision, who was identified as Andrew Filshie (60,Petaluma). Filshie showed signs of alcohol impairment and a DUI investigation was completed. Filshie was determined to be operating the vehicle under the influence of alcohol at the time of the collision and as subsequently placed under arrest. He was later booked at the Sonoma County Jail.

Driving under the influence is 100% preventable. We encourage our community to plan ahead by designating a driver, utilizing a rideshare, or calling a taxi when consuming alcohol.
