* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.

* WHERE...Portions of central, east central, and west central Illinois, including the following counties, in central Illinois, De Witt, Marshall, McLean, Peoria, Piatt, Stark, Tazewell and Woodford. In east central Illinois, Champaign, Douglas, Edgar and Vermilion. In west central Illinois, Knox.

* WHEN...From 7 PM CDT this evening through Tuesday morning.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - A cluster of thunderstorms will race east-southeastward out of Iowa this evening...mainly impacting locations along and north of the I-74 corridor. Excessive rainfall rates will likely lead to flash flooding, especially in urban areas and low-lying spots. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
