INCIDENT: P.C. 368(D)(1) - Elder Abuse Causing Injury
LOCATION: 1900 block of Erin Drive, Needles, CA
SUSPECT(S): Andrew Forte, 36-Years-Old, Resident of Needles, CA
VICTIM(S): Confidential
SUMMARY: On Monday, July 15, 2024, at approximately 8:20 a.m., deputies from the Colorado River Station / Needles Police Department responded to a call for service reference an assault. During the investigation, the suspect, Andre Forte, was found to be in violation of P.C. 368(B)(1) - Elder Abuse Causing Injury, after it was discovered he punched the victim in the face. The victim sustained a laceration but declined medical attention at the scene.
Forte was consequently arrested and transported to the Colorado River Station jail for booking. Forte remains in the custody of the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department with a bail amount of $40,000.00, awaiting a court hearing.
