* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is occurring.
* WHERE...A portion of northeast Illinois, including the following counties, Cook, DuPage and Will.
* WHEN...Until 400 AM CDT.
* IMPACTS...Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1211 AM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated up to 1.5 inches of rain have fallen in the advisory area due to earlier thunderstorms. Although no additional street flooding is expected, rises may still occur on area creeks and streams for the next few hours. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Chicago, Aurora, Joliet, Naperville, Elgin, Cicero, Hammond, Arlington Heights, Evanston, Schaumburg, Bolingbrook, Palatine, Skokie, Des Plaines, Orland Park, Tinley Park, Oak Lawn, Berwyn, Mount Prospect and Wheaton. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
