Flood Watch until 07:00AM Wednesday

Multiple rounds of showers and thunderstorms will develop tonight as a slow-moving frontal boundary moves southward into the region. Training thunderstorms along this boundary will produce very high rainfall rates, leading to a risk of flash flooding.

* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible.

* WHERE...All of southwest Indiana and portions of southeast Missouri, southern Illinois, and northwest Kentucky.

* WHEN...From this evening through Wednesday morning.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Low-water crossings may be flooded.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Multiple rounds of thunderstorms are forecast tonight through Wednesday morning across the Flood Watch area. Widespread rainfall amounts of 2 to 4 inches are forecast, with locally higher amount possible. High rainfall rains and saturated soils will lead to isolated to scattered areas of flash flooding.
