* Flash Flood Warning for... Southern Jackson County in southern Illinois... Union County in southern Illinois... Southwestern Williamson County in southern Illinois... Northeastern Bollinger County in southeastern Missouri... Northern Cape Girardeau County in southeastern Missouri... Perry County in southeastern Missouri...

* Until 545 AM CDT Wednesday.

* At 1139 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Radar. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Carbondale, Perryville, Anna, Jonesboro, Trail Of Tears State Park, Cobden, Grand Tower, Altenburg, Daisy, Ware, Cedar Lake Area, Alliance, Patton, Makanda, Alto Pass, Frohna, Oak Ridge, Gorham, Sedgewickville and Pocahontas.
