INCIDENT: PC 602.5: ILLEGAL ENTRY TO A DWELLING
LOCATION: Marina Lounge, 13295 Spring Valley Lake Parkway in Spring Valley Lake
SUSPECT: Makiya Johnson, 24 years of age, resident of Victorville
SUMMARY:
On Monday, July 15, 2024, deputies responded to a 911 call at Marina Lounge in Spring Valley Lake. According to the reporting party, the subject, later identified as Makiya Johnson, was sitting on patrons’ vehicles and causing a disturbance. Additional callers stated Johnson was acting erratically and rolling down hills in the area. He was last seen hiding behind bushes near residences.
When deputies arrived, they located a window to a residence slid open. The screen to the window was destroyed and thrown on the ground, and Johnson’s shoes were located on the ground under the window. Johnson was located nearby and detained. Through the investigation, deputies learned Johnson allegedly entered the residence, but it does not appear he removed any items.
Makiya Johnson was arrested without incident and booked at the High Desert Detention Center.
