STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN ALLEN, CENTRAL WHITLEY, CENTRAL KOSCIUSKO AND SOUTHEASTERN MARSHALL COUNTIES THROUGH 415 AM.

At 310 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a line of showers with 
very heavy rain and a few embedded thunderstorms extending from near Mentone to near Grabill. These storms were nearly stationary. 
Rainfall rates up to 3 inches per hour have been observed by mesonet sites producing numerous rainfall amounts between three quarters of an inch and one inch and a quarter. 
HAZARD...Winds in excess of 30 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 
         unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Fort Wayne, Warsaw, Columbia City, Winona Lake, Tri-lakes,
Huntertown, Churubusco, Grabill, Pierceton, Mentone, Leo-cedarville,
Larwill, Lorane, Blue Lake, Goose Lake, Coesse, Wallen, Palestine,
Collins, and Old Tip Town.

Instructions:

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
