FFWLZK The National Weather Service in Little Rock has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for... Central Marion County in north central Arkansas...

* Until 1015 AM CDT.

* At 627 AM CDT, Local law enforcement reported thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 6 and 11 inches of rain have fallen. Flash flooding is ongoing. Numerous bridges across the area are washed out with water rescues that are taking place. Evacuations are taking place as significant rising water is inside of homes and businesses. This is a FLASH FLOOD EMERGENCY for Yellville and immediate surrounding locations. This is a PARTICULARLY DANGEROUS SITUATION. SEEK HIGHER GROUND NOW! HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding. SOURCE...Law enforcement reported. IMPACT...This is a PARTICULARLY DANGEROUS SITUATION. SEEK HIGHER GROUND NOW! Life threatening flash flooding of low water crossings, small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

Move to higher ground now! This is an extremely dangerous and life-threatening situation. Do not attempt to travel unless you are fleeing an area subject to flooding or under an evacuation order. Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. In hilly terrain there are hundreds of low water crossings which are potentially dangerous in heavy rain. Do not attempt to cross flooded roads. Find an alternate route.
