* At 1229 AM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 10 miles west of San Jon, or 14 miles southeast of Tucumcari, and is nearly stationary. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
* This severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of central Quay County. This includes Interstate 40 between Mile Markers 349 and 353.
* AFFECTED AREAS: QUAY, NM
