Child Pornography Arrest 
On 07/18/2024 at about 5:30 a.m. the Janesville Police Department S.W.A.T. team executed a search warrant in the 200 block of Rockport Road, after a four-month investigation conducted by the Detective Bureau.
K9 Handler Detective Winiarski deployed K9 Maui, an Electronic Storage Detection Canine to assist in finding electronics in the residence. As a result of the search warrant, numerous electronics were collected from the residence. The Wisconsin Division of Criminal Investigation Electronic Forensic Unit also assisted with the collection of evidence.
Suspect, Brett Cochran, was arrested for five counts of Possession of Child Pornography and was later transported to the Rock County jail pending his initial court appearance.
