Location: Constitution Park, 601 Carmen Drive

Narrative:

The Camarillo Police Department is looking forward to meeting residents and showing off equipment and vehicles on 8/10/2024 at Constitution Park, located at 601 Carmen Drive.

The city of Camarillo and Pleasant Valley Recreation and Park District are hosting a “Summer Concert Series” event on 8/10/2024 at 7:00 PM.  In line with National Night Out, members of the Camarillo Police Department and Ventura County Sheriff’s Office will be visiting with residents and meeting community members during the scheduled concert by the “805 Social Club,” a pop music Ventura County cover band. The event will be held from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM.

National Night Out is a national community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships. National Night Out is held annually on the first Tuesday of August. National Night Out enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community. Furthermore, it provides a great opportunity to bring police and neighbors together under positive circumstances.

Come meet deputies and see various vehicles and equipment used by the police department including a police car, police K-9, SWAT armored vehicle, a command post and more.  Ask questions and have fun interacting with all the deputies present. We are better at what we do because of our community partnerships and relationships built up at events such as this. We know many families in Camarillo enjoy the “Summer Concert Series.” We look forward to seeing everyone on Saturday, 8/10/2024 at 6:00 PM.
