* At 344 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 7 miles southwest of Nashville, moving east at 25 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
* Locations impacted include... Rocky Mount, Roanoke Rapids, Tarboro, Nashville, Halifax, Wilson, Elm City, Dortches, Littleton, and Bailey. This includes Interstate 95 near Mile Marker 78, near Mile Marker 79, near Mile Marker 80, near Mile Marker 81, near Mile Marker 82, near Mile Marker 83, and between Mile Markers 116 and 173.
