At 422 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 10 miles northwest of Kannapolis to 3 miles north of Gastonia. Movement was east at 30 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Uptown Charlotte, Huntersville, Kannapolis, Downtown Concord, Gastonia, Central Charlotte, Northeast Charlotte, Northwest Charlotte, West Concord, and Cornelius.
