POST BERYL RECOVERY UPDATE - 7/18 - 6PM
Your resilience, hard work, and community spirit are truly inspiring. Together, we are making incredible progress in rebuilding our beloved town! As we continue with our recovery efforts, here are a few important reminders for our citizens:
- DISASTER ASSISTANCE - Follow up on the status of your application, the status could change once it's re-evaluated.
- FEMA Disaster Assistance online at Home | disasterassistance.gov or by calling 1-800-621-3362
- Report all hurricane damage here iSTAT Damage Surveys (texas.gov)
- United Way is a great resource for cleanup assistance available in our area. www.uwbc.org, 979-849-9402 or find them on Facebook at Facebook
- DEBRIS REMOVAL - Trucks are working throughout the city and they will continue to do so for the next few weeks.
- Placement - DO NOT place debris on or near fire hydrants, manholes, utility meters, poles or trees
- Separating - see attached files for more details, tree branches, leaves & logs must be separate from all other debris
- Bagged Leaves - place with household garbage on your second pickup day of the week
- Fencing/Construction Material/etc. - stack separately
- Household trash - regular schedule
- CITY SERVICES - We are here to help.
- Permits - all fees are waived for permits for storm-related repairs including electrical, plumbing, construction and fences
- Water Bills - all late fees are waived and there will be no disconnects for the month of July. Payment arrangements are available if needed, call City Hall at 979-265-2541 for assistance
