SUBJECT: Redwood City man arrested for multiple firearms and drug charges.
INCIDENT LOCATION: 2300 block of Massachusetts Avenue., Redwood City
DATE/TIME: July 11, 2024, 6:25 p.m.
On July 11 at approximately 6:25 p.m., the Redwood City Police Department’s Street Crime Suppression Team contacted Redwood City resident Elijah Harrington (25) in the 2300 block of Massachusetts Avenue. Detectives previously knew Harrington to be on probation and to have several outstanding warrants issued for his arrest, one of which was a No Bail for a felony violation. A search of his person revealed he was in possession of 2 ounces of methamphetamine.
Detectives subsequently responded to Harrington’s residence located on Oakridge Drive in Redwood City and conducted a probation search. During the search of his room, Detectives located two un-serialized pistols, AR-15 rifle components including an upper receiver, high capacity AR-15 compatible magazines, several rounds of .223 caliber ammunition, a 3D printer along with other jigs and materials associated with manufacturing illegal firearms. RCPD detectives determined Harrington had used the materials and equipment to manufacture the firearms he was arrested for illegally possessing.
Harrington was booked into the Maguire Correctional facility for the following charges:

29900(a)(1) PC, Possession of firearms by felon convicted of violent crimes
29815 PC, Possession of firearms in violation of probation conditions
29800(a)(1) PC, Felon/Addict in possession of firearms
30305(a)(1) PC, Felon in possession of ammunition
11377(a) H&S, Possession of controlled substances
1 Felony No-Bail warrant and 6 misdemeanor warrants
