Veterans Parkway (Village Commons) closed today from 9:30am-1pm for private event 
The Village of New Lenox advises that a portion of Veterans Parkway will be closed to thru traffic today, July 19, from 9:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. due to a private event in the Village Commons. Old Plank Trail Community Bank, the police department, and the library will be accessible via Independence Blvd. The suggested alternate route is Route 30 to Nelson to Haven.
