Newark Public Safety Director Fritz G. Fragé requests the public’s help identifying the suspect pictured below, who stole a wallet from a victim’s unlocked vehicle on July 16, 2024.
The burglary occurred at approximately 7 a.m. in the 60 block of Pennington Street, where police officers responded and met the victim. On surveillance video, the suspect entered the victim’s vehicle and took the wallet from the center console. The suspect attempted to use the victim’s credit at a fast food restaurant but was unsuccessful.
